Policy Agreement

Overview

As the undersigned customer, you do hereby entrust your pet(s) to Snuggle Bug Pet Grooming, LLC for the purpose of grooming the named pet(s). By signing this contract, you agree to hold Snuggle Bug, its owners, operators, and employees harmless from any damage, loss, or claim arising from any condition of the undersigned pet, either known or unknown to Snuggle Bug. It is also further understood and agreed that the terms of this agreement can change at any time, without notice, and will overwrite any and all prior signed contracts or releases.

Pet, Client & Groomer Safety

Pet vaccination against rabies is required by the State of Oregon, Washington County, and its municipalities. In order to comply with all applicable laws, Snuggle Bug Pet Grooming requires a copy of the listed pet(s)' vaccination records.

This vaccination policy is strictly enforced. Snuggle Bug will not obtain these records on your behalf. If pet vaccination records are not provided, that pet's grooming appointment will be rescheduled without exception.

Pet, Client & Groomer Safety

Snuggle Bug Pet Grooming cares for all pets as seriously as if they were our own. Every pet receives a hands-on assessment at check-in to determine the best care for the pet

Clients/Owners must disclose any pet's known medical conditions, allergies, or behavioral issues prior to the grooming appointment.

In the event a pet requires emergency medical attention, the groomer will contact the owner immediately and determine next steps. If the owner is unavailable for any reason, the groomer will transport the pet to the nearest veterinary hospital. Clients/Owners are responsible for all emergency veterinary costs unless groomer negligence is proven.

Booking, Cancellations & Late Fees

Clients must arrive within 10 minutes of their scheduled time. Arrivals after more than 10 minutes past the appointment start time may be rescheduled and charged a fee.

Snuggle Bug Grooming requires clients/owners to notify the groomer with more than 24-hours' notice in order to cancel or change appointments. Cancellations under 24 hours or missed appointments (AKA "No-shows") may incur a 50% grooming fee.

Snuggle Bug Grooming relies on clients'/owners' diligence in picking up pets in a timely manner so we can provide our trademark one-on-one service. As such, Pets must be picked up within thirty (30) minutes after notification of service completion. Late pick-ups may incur a daycare fee for each additional 30-minute appointment window.

Pricing & Additional Fees

All prices quotes listed over-the-phone are estimates only. Final prices are determined after personally assessing the pet, their temperament, and their coat condition.

Groomers will prioritize how the pet feels, not just how they look. Heavily matted coats will be shaved to prevent pain and injury. Any shaving or extensive dematting may incur an extra fee for every fifteen (15) minutes of additional required grooming time.

All aggressive or highly anxious pets require additional care and time. These may incur a $10-20 handling fee.

Credit & Payment Policy

Full payment is due immediately upon completion of services and prior to the release of the pet. Accepted Payment Methods include Cash, Major Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard), Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Venmo.

Snuggle Bug Grooming does not offer billing, invoicing, or deferred payments for standard grooming services.

Guarantee of Service & Arbitration

All pet care services are backed by our Snuggle Bug guarantee. If a groom or service is not to the clients'/owners' liking, they must notify the groomer within 48 hours for a complimentary service, including but not limited to trim adjustment, rebathing, or nail trim.

Snuggle Bug Grooming does not offer refunds for completed grooming services. In the event of a complaint or dispute, the groomer will personally address the issue within 48 business hours to find a fair solution.
